The 1995 McLaren GTR was produced to compete in the BPR Global GT Endurance series. When they saw opportunity to compete in the 24 hours of Le Mans they sent in Chassis 01R the very first GTR edition of the McLaren F1. It won the race and shocked the world that a road car was the overall winner at such a high output event. At no surprise this legendary road car then won 80% of it's races between 95-96 of the BPR series. This car has been known as the GOAT and who could argue against. There's a reason they sell for $20 million nowadays...
